Motor Fuel and Sales Tax preparation services

Does your company need someone to prepare your month end taxes?

 Petroleum Technologies, Inc. is excited to announce its latest in a long line of products and services.   

We now offer Motor Fuel and Sales Tax preparation services.  Our cost for this service is only the amount of vendor’s compensation the State allows on each of the returns.  In most cases, the monthly fee is significantly less than paying a part-time person to do the same thing. 

All you have to do is send us copies of your customer invoices and fuel purchase receipts by the 10^th of the month and our staff will prepare your tax returns.  We will return your original paperwork along with a completed motor fuel and/or sales tax return by the 18^th.  

If the return is not received by the 18^th, you pay nothing!

Whether your company has a dedicated person for preparing your taxes or your receptionist doubles as the person that prepares your month end returns, our service will SAVE you money.

* If the total invoice dollar amount divided by invoice count is less than fifteen hundred dollars, then surcharges may apply.

2004 State of Georgia Motor Fuel Tax Law changes - Atlanta, GA - The 2003 General Assembly, through House Bill 43 (Act 343), changed the method of collecting and remitting the 3% Second Motor Fuel Tax and the 1% State Sales and Use Tax on sales or use of motor fuel. Effective January 1, 2004, all licensed motor fuel distributors in the State of Georgia will begin collecting a Prepaid State Tax on all motor fuel sold to your company.  Read more about the changes here...
